Pemberton Monthly Sales Statistics
The number of sales in March was relatively strong but there were not as many sales this March as there were in March 2017 and March 2016. However, we did see a slight increase in the dollar volume of the sales compared to previous years; and year-to-date, March has been the busiest month of the year so far for the number of sales.
We are now starting to see a slight increase in the number of listings: by the end of January there was 153 listings in Whistler and 42 listings in Pemberton; now there 205 listings in Whistler and 57 listings in Pemberton – another slight increase over last month. As this has now started to turn around with an increase in listings, we may see an increase in the volume of sales in the next couple of months. Buyers are finally able to see a little more inventory. However traditionally, May and June can be slower months for sales as we have less potential buyers in the resort.
There were a total of 78 sales in March. Of these 78 sales for the month:
36 were under $1 million:
30 were between $1 million and $2 million:
9 sales were between $2 million and $3 million:
3 sales over $3 million:
In Pemberton, the total number of sales in March was 16:
